Amara and Kerry met on March 16, 2020 during COVID. That night Kerry handed over his phone to Amara and she put her number in his phone. Both walked away not thinking anything of it.
On July 1, 2021 Kerry slid into Amara’s DM on Facebook saying “I think you are extremely beautiful. I never said anything because you seemed so far. But following you on social media I just wanted you to know you are so beautiful to me”. After that Amara accepted a coaching job in Texas. That’s where we had our first date in August 2021 at Pappadeax Seafood Kitchen.
On January 1, 2022 we made it official. Happy New Year!! Although our whole dating journey has been long distance, we are both in careers that are demanding. Cherishing every moment that we can spend together.
On July 30, 2023, around 3:05pm is the day we got engaged! Now the wait is almost over. As we are about to tie the knot and walk into our next chapter of our relationship to Mr. & Mrs. Terry!
